This sample demonstrates use of DD-42992 Multi I/O SDK in a C# Windows Forms application in Visual Studio 2022.

1. Overview

• The C# sample imports the DD42992 C SDK APIs into the C# application by calling DllImport.
• A Windows form provides buttons and other controls to initialize a ARINC 429 card and enable / disable Tx and Rx on selected channels.
• It sets up a receive host buffer to capture received ARINC 429 messages.
• It allows the user to transmit a user-entered 32-bit message on the selected channel.
• It allows the user to read the host buffer for ARINC 429 messages one at a time or all at once and display it in a rich-text box.

3. Build and Test Details

The sample was built and tested using Visual Studio 2022 with DD-42992S0 v4.9.5 in both Debug and Release modes on Windows 10 and 11. To build and run the application, both DD-42992S0 and Visual Studio must be installed. The project was also successfully built and tested in Visual Studio 2015. Depending on the .NET Framework version installed on your computer, Visual Studio may prompt you to use the installed version or download another one. You may opt to proceed with the installed version. Ensuring compatibility across different Visual Studio versions is beyond the scope of this document.
