DDC Reference Sample Code : bcdemo_mfc_gui   Download 

This sample demonstrates using DDC's AceXtreme SDK in a Microsoft Visual C++ MFC GUI application.

1. Overview

• The sample creates two BC->RT messages and two RT to BC messages and schedules them in two minor frames of 100ms each.
• It reads BC host buffer using aceBCGetHBufMsgDecoded in a background thread and displays the messages in rich text boxes.
• It provides an option to choose the Bus (A or B) on which the messages will be transmitted.
• It provides an option to enable message retry. If enabled, retry happens once on the alternate bus.
• It demonstrates the aceBCDataBlkWrite API to update data for BC->RT messages.

3. Build and Test Details

The sample was built and tested using Visual Studio 2022 with BU-69092S0-110 v4.9.5. The project has been set up considering the AceXtreme SDK install path as C:\DDC\aceXtremeSDKv4.9.5.

If your installation of the SDK is at a different path or if you have a different version of the AceXtreme SDK, please update the path in the following project settings:

• Project Properties: Configuration Properties → C/C++ → General → Additional Include Directories
• Project Properties: Configuration Properties → Linker → General → Additional Library Directories
